Jeffrey

Throughout his life, Jeffrey Beers has maintained a strong affinity towards discovery and adventure. After graduating with a degree in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, Beers followed his passion for glass blowing and studied with renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Beers then traveled to Brazil where, as a Fulbright Scholar, he worked with the legendary Oscar Niemeyer. Following his return to the New York, he joined the prestigious firm of I. M. Pei & Partners.

In 1986, Beers established Jeffrey Beers International (JBI). Since the inception of JBI, the firm has produced a high profile and diverse portfolio of projects that include award-winning hotels, restaurants, retail outlets, residences, offices and nightclubs.

Beers is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including Contract magazine’s Interior Design Award 2008, Finalist for Interior Design's "Best of Year" Design Award 2007, and three Gold Key Awards for Excellence. He was also inducted into Hospitality Design’s Platinum Circle in 2000. His work has been widely profiled in travel, business, design and lifestyle publications.

Jeffrey Beers resides in Manhattan with his wife and two sons.
